This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Chrome extension, web application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (via Google OAuth or email/password).

Context Entries: The Service captures and stores AI context entries — including custom instructions, system prompts, and preferences — from supported AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Manus, Grok) when you use our Chrome extension.

Usage Data: We collect anonymized usage analytics including pages visited, features used, and session duration to improve the Service.

Browser Permissions: Our Chrome extension requests the following permissions: storage (to store extension settings locally), activeTab (to read context from the current AI platform tab), identity (for Google OAuth sign-in), and host permissions for supported AI platform domains.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Sync your AI context entries across supported platforms
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Send transactional emails (account verification, billing receipts)
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your context entries to train AI models. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure in the United States. Data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and in transit using TLS 1.3. We implement industry-standard security measures including access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews.

5. HIPAA Compliance

For users in healthcare or regulated industries, AI Glue offers a HIPAA-compliant mode that includes: Protected Health Information (PHI) detection and scanning, Business Associate Agreement (BAA) signing, enhanced audit logging, and data retention controls. Healthcare mode must be explicitly enabled by the account administrator.

6. Data Sharing

We may share your information with:

• Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist in operating the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing via Stripe, email delivery). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• Team Members: If you use AI Glue within a team, context entries you designate as shared will be visible to other team members.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or government request.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you (available via the Export feature)
• Correction: Update or correct your personal information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability: Export your data in standard formats (JSON, CSV)
• Opt-Out: Disable analytics tracking in your account settings

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention). Audit logs in HIPAA mode are retained for a minimum of 6 years as required by regulation.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
